MonaVie only uses Freeze-Dried (the same methods scientists use to preserve nutrients for laboratory tests) Acai as Acai must be preserved within 8 hours after its picked, or it loses many of its qualities. Cheaper methods such as Air Drying cause Acai to lose 55% of the phytochemicals while Spray Drying causes it to loose 70%.
